What is Reiki?
Reiki is the Japanese word for Universal Life Energy. This energy we all possess for it is our very essence and of everything around us. It is the healing life giving energy that sustains and nourishes all living things. Reiki intensifies the healing potential through teachings and attunements. It engages the higher mind and brings a more powerful touch.
Reiki was founded at the end of the 19th century by Dr. Mikao Usui, a director and Christian priest of a small University in Kyoto, Japan.
It is the gateway to healing . . . the key that opens the door to your heart and helps you heal your life. It deepens joy and inner peace. It is a gift that allows a deeper connection to who we are.
Reiki is intangible, invisible, formless, not of the senses, and is experienced by remaining in the moment allowing ourselves to just be. It manifests as health, joy, spontaneity, vitality, radiance, contentment and more.
It is a powerful adjunct and may be an alternative to traditional methods. Each way has a right place and time.
Reiki. . . Heavenly Blessings of an Almighty Power rain down upon us responding to our prayers, mantras. . . nourishing the seed of Divine Life within each of one of us.
